The Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law (formerly known as Northwestern University School of Law from 1891 to 2015) is the law school of Northwestern University, a private research university. The law school is located on the university's downtown Chicago campus. Northwestern Law is considered part of the T14, an unofficial designation in the legal community for the best law schools in the United States. Founded in 1859, it was the first law school established in the city of Chicago.
